Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

An Individual Retirement Account (IRA) should be the central building block of any financial portfolio. When you invest in an Omaha Federal Credit Union IRA, you can be sure your money will be there when you need it...because they’re insured investments which are built to last. Unlike stocks or mutual funds, all Omaha Federal Credit Union’s IRA accounts are separately insured up to $250,000 by NCUA, an agency of the federal government. This means your money (both the dividends and the principal) will always be there for you.

In 2001, the benefits of IRAs were improved with the passage of The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001. To see the new and improved benefits and features of the Traditional, Roth and Coverdell ESA(formerly known as the Education IRA) See Our IRA Chart.

You can use the At Your Service Form on this site to do transfers, renewals, and/or cancelling your current OFCU IRA Share Certificate or to change your IRA beneficiary.
