That's why Omaha Federal Credit Union offers Worry Free Overdraft Courtesy, a member service that protects your checking account and your reputation when an inadvertent overdraft occurs.

Worry Free adds a safety measure to your personal checking account. We require no applications or additional signtures. Worry Free is simply a way for us to provide a higher level of service to our members by helping protect your account.

This service will cover occasional insufficient funds checks up to $700, for one low fee of $25 per covered overdraft transaction. That means that instead of returning a check to the merchant, we may pay your check, saving you additional charges from the merchant and collection company. It also saves you the embarrassement that an inadvertently overdrawn account can cause, and helps protect your credit rating.

The only requirments for Worry Free are that your account has been open for at least 60 days and maintained in good standing, defined as (a)making regular deposits sufficient to cover transactions; (b) bringing the account to a positive balance at least once every 30 days or less; and (c) there are no legal orders outstanding on your account.
