Important Notice: Spoofing Alert – Protecting Your Account
Dear Member,
We want to alert you to recent spoofing incidents targeting credit union members. Fraudsters are using deceptive tactics to impersonate financial institutions—often making it appear as though calls, texts, or emails are coming from Omaha Federal Credit Union or another trusted source.
What is Spoofing?
Spoofing is when a scammer falsifies caller ID, email, or text information to make it look like it’s coming from a legitimate organization. Their goal is to trick you into revealing personal or financial information, such as your online banking credentials, debit card number, or one-time security codes.
What You Need to Know:
- Omaha Federal Credit Union will never ask you to share passwords, PINs, or verification codes via phone, text, or email.
- If you receive a suspicious message or call claiming to be from us, hang up and call or text us directly at (402) 399-9001.
- Do not click on links or open attachments from unknown or suspicious sources.
- Report spoofing attempts to us immediately.

Your security is our top priority. We encourage all members to:
- Regularly monitor your accounts for unauthorized activity.
